Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
Location: Gilberts, IL. 60136
Shift Hours: 7 am-5 pm
Shift Days: Monday – Friday. A work schedule will be set at the start time.
Pay Rate: $18 – $19 per hour.

Job Description:
Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will process outgoing& incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy of shipping documents. They will coordinate all delivery/recipient details for outgoing shipments and will work with customers to answer questions/alleviate concerns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Process shipments from manufacturing daily
- Prepare and verify shipping documents
- Receive purchase orders in NetSuite
- Schedule pickup of material to/from vendors
- Process transfer orders of materials between Turf warehouse and vendors
- Answer incoming calls in support of customer questions
- Support the Production and Business Operations teams in a variety of general office and related tasks
- Multi-task in a demanding, fast-paced environment

Travel: None
Time on Feet/Lifting Requirements: 50/50 time on feet; 10 lbs. regularly, up to 40 lbs. infrequently
Qualifications

- Ability to prioritize and multi-task for maximum efficiency without sacrificing accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Professional and pleasant phone manner to service incoming and outgoing calls
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Above-average proficiency using computers and various software
- High proficiency with MS Office Suite and general computer functions
- Experience with NetSuite a plus
Education and/or Experience
- Forklift experience preferred
- High School diploma/GED required or Associates Degree in Business Administration; or related field (preferred but not required.)
- Minimum 1-3 years in shipping and/or manufacturing environment with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Experience processing shipments within a manufacturing setting/environment preferred
- Comfortable in fast-paced work environment where processes are still evolving and are updated as needed depending on business requirements
- Ability to address customer product issues and concerns, thoroughly and professionally
Location & Reporting:
- This position works out of the Turf manufacturing plant (Gilberts) and reports to the Shipping Supervisor. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Occasional travel to the Firehouse (Chicago office) is to be expected. Occasionally requires lifting 10-30lbs.
