Process Technician / Foreman

Location: Glendale Heights, Il, 60139.
Pay rate: $26 -$29 p/h based on experience.
Schedule: Mon-Fri.
Shift: 3^rd
Hours: 11:30 p. m. – 8:00 a. m.
Requirements: Bilingual is good but not necessarily English preferred, resume required and in-person interview

 

Job Description

 

• Startup machines/shut down machines.
• Keep machines running overnight.
• Fix issues in machining.
• 3-5 years of Plastic Injection experience.
• Experience can consist of set-up man, material handler, and assistant foreman. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

1. Supervising operators, material handlers, set-up personnel, assemblers, and inspectors
2. Serving as an internal ISO auditor

 

Common tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

1. Manufacturing
2. Supervising and training of all employees between 11:30pm and 7:30am
3. Maintaining production and quality with minimal loss or downtime
4. Documenting any changes to processes
5. Completing proper forms for corresponding tasks
6. Completing cycle sheets for all production jobs
7. Communicating with other supervisors and documenting your shift’s erformance
8. Seeking improvements to current processes
9. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
10. Understanding and complying with all quality and customer requirements
11. Respond to quality non-conformances promptly
12. Enforce and respect company rules and policies at all times
13. Miscellaneous
14. Keeping mold rack in proper order
15. Maintaining the colorant racks
16. Maintaining all granulators
17. Checking all equipment for proper operation of safety switches and guards
18. Supervising all employees to practice safe work habits
19. Maintaining air compressors

                                III. ISO Audits

1. Following proper procedures
2. Documenting all necessary items in accordance with procedures
3. Completing an auditor’s checklist
